The Iguassu Falls are the most overwhelming and spectacular South American natural wonder. To our point of view a visit to Brazil without seeing and “experiencing” the falls is hard to imagine. In the language of the local indians – ‘Tupi-Guarani' - Iguassu means ‘Big waters', and that describes exactly what it is. Huge and spectacular! The falls are over 3km (1.9 miles) wide and 80m (263 ft) high and their beauty is unsurpassed. This package includes tours to both the Brazilian and Argentinean sides of the falls plus a visit to the worlds biggest hydro-electric power plant and a spectacular boatride under the falls. |

The most spectacular perspective is undoubtedly from the visitor's platform directly above the Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo). There, one is virtually on eye's level with the river Paraná and one can watch him for hours pouring its waters into emptiness. The enormous quantities of water just disappear in a cloud of water dust. In the afternoon we will get back to Brazil and head to the Itaipu power plant, where we will have a look at the worlds biggest man-made reservoir. Overnight in your hotel. Day 4 Foz de IguaçuAccording to your flightscedule, time for leisure followed by your transfer to the aiport. |
